Friends,

‘Miles & Smiles’ organised a Jeep Safari in Leh Ladakh, in August 2010 and even after a horrific natural calamity, the tour was successfully conducted to the satisfaction of our patrons.

‘Miles & Smiles’ now happily announces Premium class Adventure Trekking Tour from 8th July 2011 to 20th July 2011 to a very picturesque Chandrataal near Manali. In this tour we will be covering the distance partly by trek and partly by Car. All the camping equipments, sleeping bags, tents, toilet tents, guide, cook, porters and mules to carry your baggage will be provided.

Chandratal Trek is considered to be the most interesting trek of the region. The trek passes through alpine plateau, green meadows, and waterfalls, valleys with wild flowers, glaciers and wild rivers. The lake, Chandratal, hypnotizes with its various colors and is like an elf in the great Himalayan setting.

Chandrataal or the “Lake of Moon’ is situated at the height of 4270 mt and it is a source of the river Chandra. This lake is about 2-3 km in circumference. It is surrounded by snow-caped mountains on all sides. Its water changes colour with each passing hour of the day. The Prussian blue shade of the lake with a backdrop of these peaks is a photograher’s delight.

There is a legend that on the full moon’s night the fairies descend here drawn by the beauty of the ambiance. So do you want to experience the heaven on earth? Join ‘Miles & Smiles’ to explore it…
